Geek SOS Productions is a music production company formed initially to promote Rocky Mountain High – An Evening of John Denver concert series.  The premiere concerts took place on March 29th – 31st, 2018 in Kelowna and Vernon B.C. and saw, The Okanagan Symphony Orchestra conducted by Grammy and Emmy award winning Conductor, arranger and writer, the amazing Lee Holdridge and featured vocals sung by recording artists Rick and Steve Worrall with special guests, Mia Harris, Justin Moore and Delphine Litke.  Since that initial debut, Rocky Mountain High concerts have gone on to tour across Canada.  In November 2019, Rocky Mountain High Christmas debuted and was scheduled to tour in 2020 but due to COVID restrictions. However, the tour resumed in the fall of 2023, once again delighting audiences.  

The CEO and driving force behind GSOSP is Rick Worrall, a veteran of the Music Industry who’s  credits include Albums released on major labels, concert tours, Cruise ship show productions, theatre production design and management.

Rick Worrall

Founder and CEO

Rick started in the music industry in 1976.  Over the course of his career he has had released several albums on major labels in Canada and distributed throughout the world,  including the successful self titled album Worrall, co-written and shared with his brother Steve for A&M/Spy Records. He has also produced successful shows for Cruise ships and headed up the production team for Kelowna Actors Studio. His credits include preforming in many of KAS’s shows and designing the sets for their critically exclaimed productions of Mary Poppins and Billy Elliot the musical.In 2017 he collaborated with Hollywood legend Lee Holdridge to reconstruct Holdridge’s hand written conductor arrangements of John Denver’s music.  That collaboration spawned the production Rocky Mountain High – An Evening of John Denver and its Christmas version A Rocky Mountain High Christmas.   With things getting back to a “New” normal, tours are once again being planned and staged, staring with a Western Canada Tour in the fall of 2022.

Steve Worrall

Steve Worrall is a successful owner operator of, 4 The Music a unique music teaching program in Toronto Ontario.    Steve started his professional career singing harmonies on Rick’s early album releases but it wasn’t long before his talent was recognized on it’s own merit.

After co-writing, performing and touring the Worrall album, Steve set out on his own succesful solo career and performed and toured with Canadian artists, Tom Cochrane, Sue Medley and Kim Stockwood.
